What is Golf Etiquette

Golf is a sport that should be played in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, that’s where Golf Etiquette comes in. The main aim of every golfer should be to enjoy their sport. Even when you are playing match play, you are still competing against the course, the elements and yourself, individual differences must acquiesce to the great tradition of fair play and exemplary manners that characterize committed golfers.

Golfers should not tolerate or condone unsporting behavior under any circumstance. A golfer must be able to tee up at any course in the world and enjoy the calming and comfortable feeling of belonging to a very elite and special group of individuals who value sportsmanship above individual achievement or edification.
